Chairman / Founder
Alan is a wellspring of vision and commitment. A legend in the resort industry, Alan has a penchant for instilling his passion for cleanliness throughout the organization and his standards for excellence throughout the industry.
Alan is a graduate of the University of Tennessee. He is an avid marathon runner, which is a testament to both his drive and his discipline. Always up for a challenge, he and his entire family have climbed Mount Kilimanjaro.
President & CEO
A respected leader in the hospitality industry, Gary is well recognized for his ability to execute a vision and build a strong leadership team. Gary joined MasterCorp in the spring of 2015 specifically to lead an exceptional company to even greater accomplishment. He is passionate about having the right people in place, challenging them to higher performance, and arming them with the knowledge they need to succeed.
On the personal side, Gary is a sports enthusiast and avid traveler, but his greatest joy is family.
Chief Development Officer
Scott identifies new markets and develops new business opportunities for MasterCorp nationwide. A respected leader in the hospitality industry for over 30 years, he was responsible for global operations for a major hospitality company, served as President and COO of a cutting edge hotel company, and led operations for two real estate development companies before coming to MasterCorp.
Drawing from his diverse range of experiences in the hospitality industry, he has customized housekeeping solutions and developed lasting partnerships with premier resorts across the country.
Chief Operations Officer
A 30-year veteran of the resort industry, Gary led North American operations eight years for Wyndham Vacation Ownership before coming to MasterCorp. An MBA, he uses his depth of knowledge in all aspects of resort operations to develop sustainable operating processes and pro-active customer and client relationships. People-passionate, he believes the key to excellence is attracting, developing and retaining great people leaders and providing them with the tools, training, and track to be successful.
An avid supporter of the environment and communities that provide our livelihoods, Gary enjoys supporting organizations such as The Arbor Day Foundation, Give Kids the World, and the opportunity to share the same with his family.
Chief Information Officer
During the past decade, Jeff has led technology initiatives for a large hotel company, most recently serving as CIO. In that role, he guided the company’s information technology strategy, infrastructure and service delivery of enterprise applications and data, user support and information security. His career has also spanned governmental and financial sectors, including several leadership roles. His efforts have earned him recognition and accolades, including Hospitality Technology’s Hotel Visionary Award in 2013 for his teams’ success consolidating their Central Reservation and Property Management systems into a single unified cloud architecture. His hands-on experience is also grounded and complemented by a Master of Science degree in Information Systems from the University of Texas at Arlington and a Bachelor’s degree in Information Management from Brigham Young University.
Senior Vice President of Human Resources
As Senior Vice President of Human Resources, Linda Wendt ensures the employee voice remains an important one in the conversation. Linda has more than 25 years of HR and management experience in the hospitality industry and is passionate about developing others. She has served in executive roles and contributed to the success of several other major hospitality companies.
Linda received her Master’s in Human Resource Development from the University of Texas in 2016.
Vice President of Finance and Accounting
A unique problem solver, Neil is aware of all the complexities that affect the bottom line. He has the unique ability to merge his financial skills with a detailed knowledge of the hospitality industry to develop systems for reducing costs without sacrificing quality. Neil comes to MasterCorp with an impressive background and experience in finance and accounting in the hospitality and tourism field. Neil earned bachelors degrees in Accounting and Economics, an MBA with a concentration in Finance and is a Certified Public Accountant.
Neil enjoys spending time with his family, watching and playing sports, specifically tennis and golf.
Angela oversees the various legal needs of our business to support the company’s passion for our employees and our clients. Entering the hospitality industry in 1999, Angela has successfully served other major hospitality companies in various management and executive positions managing areas within legal, title contracts and operations. She has also successfully managed her own small businesses. The combination of corporate legal oversight and operations together with Angela’s entrepreneurial experience provide a diverse sets of skills to meet our business goals.
Angela is licensed to practice law in California and is registered as in-house counsel in Tennessee.
Vice President of Asset Management & Facilities
Kevin drives the strategic priorities around assets, and develops and implements robust facility standards across all MasterCorp locations. With more than 33 years of experience in the hospitality industry, Kevin offers a wealth of experience and expertise. His career has spanned all aspects in hotel and resort management, beginning with back of house roles that shaped his leadership style.
Vice President of Risk Management & Quality Control
Tony leads the initiative to forecast and evaluate risks and identifies procedures to avoid or minimize their impact. Tony has spent most of his career successfully leading safety and health initiatives and has a genuine love for the hospitality industry.
Born in Guatemala, Tony grew up in California. Before entering the hospitality industry, Tony developed an interest in safety while serving in the US Navy. He is an avid soccer (football) fan and enjoys swimming.
